OUR TEAM
Meet Our Specialists
Helen is a Clinical Specialist Nurse in ADHD with a warm, person-centred approach. She originally trained in paediatric nursing (BSc Hons) and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma, Advanced Professional Practice (Mental Health Practitioner), giving her a strong foundation in both physical and mental health care. With experience in both the NHS and private sector, Helen combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion and insight.
She has a deep understanding of how ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence affect everyday life—not just through a clinical lens, but from listening to and supporting real people through their journeys. Helen is UKAAN (UK Adult ADHD Network)-trained in ADHD assessment and prescribing, and brings confident diagnostic skills alongside specialist knowledge of ADHD medications and treatments.
Steve is a warm, compassionate Integrative Counsellor, registered with the BACP. He brings a wealth of experience from working in the NHS, where he supports young people facing both acute and long-term mental health challenges. His calm, grounded presence helps clients feel safe and understood, no matter what they’re going through.
Steve also has extensive experience working with older adults and their families, offering thoughtful, person-centred support that respects each individual’s story and stage of life. His approach is grounded in empathy, flexibility, and a deep belief in people’s capacity to grow and heal.
As neurodivergent individuals ourselves, we know what it’s like to move through a world that often doesn’t accommodate different ways of thinking, feeling, or processing. Our lived experience, combined with professional training, allows us to support you with empathy, clarity, and real-world understanding.
We’re here to walk alongside you in your healing journey — with compassion, respect, and a commitment to helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

SUCCESS STORIES
The Moment I understood my ADHD
Helen was the first person to recognise that I had ADHD. I had reached a crossroads at work and was carrying a long list of feedback from my line manager at the time. I appreciated the feedback’s validity and wanted to do something positive with it, I respected the person who had gifted it to me, but I was stuck. I couldn’t seem to integrate the feedback into improving my performance at work. I discussed this with Helen, and to cut a long story short, she told me she was confident that I had ADHD and gave me some incredible advice and support to help me understand how my brain functioned and how I could work with it to feel good and perform in a world that isn’t set up for me.
Fast forward, and both Helen and Steve have been an incredible force for good in my life. Without their insight, support, and compassion, I would have continued walking the well-worn, chaotic, reactive path I was familiar with. - Kim M.
